THE WEATHINGTON FIRM, P.C. was formed in 2005 when Paul E. Weathington left his previous firm to start The Weathington Firm.  The firm specializes in defending hospitals, physicians, and other medical professionals in medical negligence cases, credentialing matters, Composite Board hearings, and other regulatory matters. In addition to representing medical professionals, the Weathington Firm, P.C. also handles general commercial and corporate litigation matters as requested by its clients. The firm represents numerous medical malpractice insurance carriers throughout Georgia, as well as individual hospitals and physician groups. The firm has an AV Martindale Hubbell rating, as do individual members of the firm.

The firm currently consists of eleven attorneys, including Paul E. Weathington, Molly L. Weathington, Ted Lavender, Amy Hoffman, Wayne Toth, Allison Richardson, Stan Riepe, M.D., John M. In addition to the attorneys, the firm employs four nurses and a physician board certified in internal medicine with fellowship training in cardiology.
