Wayne was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He attended West Virginia University for one year, and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, receiving a B.S. degree in Chemistry in 1988. After graduation, he spent ten years working in the environmental and chemical industries in sales and operations. In 1997, he received an M.B.A. from the Georgia State University J. Mack Robinson College of Business.
Realizing that he wanted to become a lawyer, he entered Georgia State University College of Law in 1998, and graduated in 2001. During law school, he became a law clerk at Dennis, Corry & Porter, L.L.P. In 2003, he left Dennis, Corry & Porter, and became an associate at Insley and Race, L.L.P., where he began focusing on the defense of medical malpractice and nursing home claims. Wayne left Insley and Race to become an associate with The Weathington Firm, P.C.
Wayne is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the Federal District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, and all Georgia trial courts. He is presently a member of the American and Atlanta Bar Associations, and the Defense Research Institute.
